First off let me say that this isn’t your normal photographer workshop ….. I don’t teach you anything !

This is a chance to have a day out at some stunning venues with all models and dresses (if wedding theme) provided by me ….. you just turn up with a healthy dose of creativity !

There are no masses of attendees fighting to shoot the exact same shot as everyone elsemaximum number of photographers in any group is TWO – yes that’s right TWO …. so you have ample time to practice all those shots that get pushed to one side on an actual wedding day or just to perfect your posing on a fine art nude day – you have time to try out new techniques before integrating them in to your work flow of a paid assignment.

Models rotate throughout the day covering all the groups of photographers – giving you about 6 hours solid shooting time after lunch and breaks are taken out (yes lunch IS provided as well as a good supply of caffeine)

We usually arrive at the venue around 08.30 for a 09.30 start and pack up around 17.00

Each wedding workshop has:

• Maximum photographers per group of TWO
• Beautiful bridal dresses and mens formal wear
• REAL flower bouquets
• Stunning models
• Usually a wedding car provided
• MUA’s for model hair and makeup
• Use of inside and outside locations

So who is this aimed at ….. well any working photographer who wants a stress free day shooting at a beautiful venue with like minded individuals on a wedding themed shoot to practice their techniques or  to refine posing and composition.

Details of upcoming workshops will be listed below ….. unlike some that seem to be weekly or monthly affairs …. these are limited to two or three a year – so make sure to keep an eye on the blog and Facebook for new ones as details are announced

Lifestyle / Fashion Workshop – September 5th 2012

Stunning location and very different - Swanwick Railway Museum site. This is a great location and we have access to workshops / museum / track / signal boxes / station buildings / carriages / wagons / diesel trains / steam trains etc etc.

Whole array of rolling stock in various states of repair and a restored steam will be brought outside to use as a prop (non running)

Slightly different this time – a lifestyle / fashion workshop with 5 / 6 models in the latest gear – so ideal for lifestyle type shooting.

This will be a great chance to work on your lifestyle / fashion portfolios.

It is a great day out to not only get some stunning images at a relaxed pace – but also to network with fellow photography professionals from all over the UK.

The workshop is limited to 10 places and there will be the usual ratio of 2 : 1 photographers to models

The workshop is priced at £165.00 per person – all bookings must be paid at the time to secure your spot.

 

 

Wedding Workshop – Cressbrook Hall – March 21st 2012 FULL

Again we have a stunning venue for the first of 2012′s workshops – Cressbrook Hall ! http://www.cressbrookhall.co.uk/

Models are already in place and the day will have a 1920′s feel to it – complete with period wedding outfits and hair / makeup provided to give authenticity

This is a great day out to not only get some stunning images at a relaxed pace – but also to network with fellow wedding professionals from all over the UK.

The workshop is limited to 10 places and there will be the usual ratio of 2 : 1 photographers to models

The workshop is priced at £195.00 per person – all bookings must be paid at the time to secure your spot.

Wedding Workshop – Callow Hall – September 7th 2011 FULL

Everything is in place for this fantastic workshop at the stunning Callow Hall

Again we will have a great selection of models and some stunning outfits for them. We have hair and makeup artists who will be weaving their magic on the girls and we even have a wedding car or two on hand for something different (you don’t see that often at wedding workshops)

Hopefully there will be some sponsors to give a few goodies away – and I’ll update with details as I know them.

This workshop is limited to 10 places and there will be the usual ratio of 2 : 1 photographers to models

I have been fortunate to get a very good price from Callow which means that this workshop is priced at £125.00 per person – all bookings must be paid at the time to secure your spot.

Tissington Hall – March 30th – FULL

Everything is in place for this fantastic workshop at the stunning Tissington Hall ……

We have got a great selection of models and some stunning outfits for them. We have three hair and makeup artists who will be weaving their magic on the girls and we even have a wedding car or two on hand for something different (you don’t see that often at wedding workshops)

Hasselblad UK are coming with their support team and a clutch of shiny MF digital cameras / lenses for attendees to use – and thanks goes to Mark Whitney from Hasselblad for making this possible.
