So the weather threatened but although a mixture of bright sun and storm clouds – the rain kept away. Maria and Richard had come over from America to be married as Richard grew up in Chesterfield. The day started with hair and makeup with Emma Buck and everything was planned to perfection by Lisa Hilliard who had worked very hard as the wedding co-ordinator / planner for Maria and Richard.
The service was at the beautiful St Peter and St Paul’s at Old Brampton and then it was off to the Maynard Arms at Grindleford Derbyshire for the celebrations to begin. The staff at the Maynard were superb and everyone was looked after very well.
I left them starting the evening celebrations and all in all it was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer for the day
