When you are planning a wedding far from home, it is especially important to make sure that you have the most stunning, beautiful pictures to remember it by.
You’ve found the perfect place to take your vows, whether it’s Sicily or Skegness. The dress and the shoes have been chosen, and you have a beautiful location that means so much to you – so don’t leave your wedding photography to chance.
Remember that when you are looking at all-inclusive destination wedding packages, the wedding photographer provided is likely to be a complete stranger whose abilities are unknown to you. He or she may be familiar with the wedding venue but won’t have any insight into your relationship, what is important to you and which styles of photography you love.
Although weddings abroad are often more intimate, friends and family who can’t be there with you can share in your joy if you have great wedding photos to show them. In my experience, the key to stunning, yet intimate photographs of any wedding is having a really strong connection with your wedding photographer.
This is why I offer my destination wedding service, getting to know you beforehand, and travelling to your location, and only charging minimal expenses on top of the basic package fee. I just need a flight and at least two nights’ accommodation at your location, plus limited expenses such as transport. If the wedding is in the UK but outside the Derbyshire, Chesterfield, Sheffield area, the cost will be even less.
In this way, we can spend time together in advance, building up a rapport, and planning the kind of wedding photography that speaks to your souls. We will also have time for an engagement shoot and portraits if you wish.
