Yesterday saw me at the stunning wedding venue Bolsover Castle for the wedding of Michael and Amy …. the sun tried to get through a few times – but boy it was cold in the wind.
Amy though never complained once !
I was joined by Richard Mather for the day and we again had a great laugh as these two were determined to enjoy their wedding from start to finish ! The service was a late start due to it being an English Heritage Site – so it really was dark when we popped outside after the meal for another couple of shots
It really was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer and the results hopefully reflect the fun the kids were having.
As normal – please vote for a numbered favourite by leaving a comment at the bottom – and the picture with the most votes will be enlarged and mounted for Amy and Michael.

Vicky Watts - It would have to be 9 or 24, 9 is different and adds an element of fun but wow…24 certainly has an edge to it!!!
Geoff Whyham - A truly fantastic set Simon. No 26 gets my vote!
Geoff
Don Cliffe - Number 3 – what did you expect.
Brilliant day – wish I had had my thermals.
Pat Cliffe - Number 24 is stunning. All are great – thanks Simon
Simon - It was a great day Pat …. if a little chilly
Glenis Gray - 24 is the outstanding shot ………. the natural lighting on Amy in 16 is beautiful too…..a lovely set of pics..would love to have been there despite the English weather!!
Gill Brett - What a fantastic set of photographs!
Number 24 is stunning and would certainly get my vote if Mike was included …. so with that in mind it goes to number 25… which is also beautifully captured!
Brian Cliffe - All the photos look absolutely great. Really looking forward to seeing the full set. As for which is the best; obviously those with the father of the bride take some beating (!) but in terms of impact, I’d have to go for 25. Thanks Simon for adding to what was a wonderful day for us all.
Jane McCann - All these photos are really stunning and lovely to look at, but I particularly liked Number 5 – ‘The look of love’ and Number 6 – ‘Eyes only for each other’, so full of joy and laughter and love.
Kathryn Berkley - No 25 gets my vote too – beautifull photos!
Kath Carter - All stunning – 3,5,16,22& 25 stand out for me wonderful day so much happiness around.
Geraldine - All absolutely gorgeous but 24 is soooo romantic
Geraldine - Too early in the morning, sorry meant 26!!
Tony Wright - No 1 is pretty good as Mike takes after his Dad! but my vote would be for no 25.
Shona - Love all the pics, particularly the black and white ones – but I agree – no. 25 is stunning!
Neha - Such stunning pics!! I vote for no.24
