Ringwood Hall Wedding Photography 034

Yesterday I was back to Ringwood Hall for the wedding of Sophie and Steve. The day was looking a perfect one with bright sun and very warm.

I joined Sophie and bridesmaids as they were getting ready and everyone was having a great time – and Sophie showed no sign of nerves at all. Makeup and hair done Sophie, was in to her dress in plenty of time and I left them to go to St Johns Church Dronfield to meet up with Steve and guests.

Soon it was time for everyone to get seated and wait for Sophie’s arrival … the ceremony was fantastic and followed the relaxed theme of the day. We came out to the sunshine again and Sophie and Steve couldn’t have been happier.

Rolls Royce, Bentley and vintage bus were transport for the day … and off everyone went to Ringwood Hall for the party celebrations to begin. All too soon, after family groups and Bride and Groom portraits, it was time for the Wedding Breakfast and speeches.

Afterwards we managed to get Sophie and Steve out for a couple of dramatic portraits and then it was first dance and the party got in to full swing.

A big thanks to Matt Heath for joining me shooting the wedding, it really was a team effort !

I travelled to the beautiful Whiston Hall Golf Club for the wedding of Steve and Kim … slightly different for me as they just wanted the main parts of the day photographing so I arrived to meet Steve and guests just before the ceremony was due to start.

Steve was very relaxed and having a great time chatting to friends and family. Kim was a different matter …. she was very nervous but as soon as the wedding ceremony started was all smiles and not a care in the world.

The sun was shining for family and friends to enjoy drinks outside and Nigel from  Whiston Hall was fantastic at organising everything so there were no hitches at all ….. we got some great pictures of the drinks reception and then moved on to some family groups – before it was time for Steve and Kim to have a quick lap round the golf course for some stunning bride and groom portraits.

Back to the venue and the wedding breakfast was served after some great speeches and afterwards guests were able to relax again in the sun waiting for the evening celebrations to start with a fantastic singer !

Michelle and Josh had planned the day that they wanted from start to finish … every last detail had been sorted and they were ready to become Mr and Mrs !

The weather wasn’t looking good as we started with rain and more rain … but by the end of the day we managed to loose it and everyone was able to enjoy a pretty good summer’s evening

I joined Michelle and sisters as they were getting ready and it was all laughs with no signs of nerves whatsoever. After Michelle was in her dress I went to find Josh at The Venue and he was putting the final finishing touches to everything .. but was a little nervous.

Michelle arrived and the ceremony was very emotional – drinks were served and by this point the rain had gone and didn’t return …. we did groups and then some bride and groom portraits before it was time for the wedding buffet and speeches.

The venue staff were superb at getting everything changed round without delay and after some great speeches it was first dance. The dance floor was packed as I left and friends and family were having a great time !

We had fantastic weather for Emma and Leon’s wedding at the beautiful Losehill House Hotel and Spa.

I arrived as Emma was getting hair and makeup done with mum’s and bridesmaids – everyone was super relaxed and I think Emma even stopped stressing about her shoes !

Once Emma was in her fabulous wedding dress I left to find a relaxed Leon who was with guests as they all arrived …. The ceremony room was beautiful and it was soon time for Emma to make her appearance …. and proud dad walked her in to marry Leon !

Drinks were served outside and the newlyweds were laughing and joking with family and friends. We got some great family groups before leaving the guests for a short walk to get some beautiful bride and groom portraits … then it was wedding breakfast and speeches. Leon was really nervous but pulled it off without incident !

I left after the first dance as people were starting to get ready to hit the dance floor and carry on partying !

OK so we have probably had summer now with the last few days of sunshine but how about a great summer sizzling offer to keep those smiles going long after the rain starts ?
