Ms R had been thinking about having a boudoir photography session for some time – and had finally summoned the courage to book one ! When she arrived for hair and makeup you could see the nerves but as soon as we started shooting they soon disappeared and by the end was really enjoying it all !

These are great for anyone wanting some sexy, flirty, sensual pictures and are a fantastic confidence boost as well – showing you looking fantastic ! Many clients have a session as a gift for a significant other but just as many do the boudoir photography for themselves – something that they have always wanted to do. Whatever your reason you will love it and everyone who has had a “Boudoir Kisses” session have reported back that it was really enjoyable and that they felt totally at ease after the first few minutes.

About 4 years ago I started an online forum for professional photographers, full time or part time, who wanted a closed forum they could use to promote both their businesses and their own development. So DramaFree photography was born.

Recently we went through a rebrand of sorts and to reflect more of our worldwide membership we became the International Professional Photographers’ Network but we are still the same tightly knit network of photographers who want to help each other and who don’t see every other person as a threat to business !

We have experts from many fields and even some SEO gurus who help members get the most out of their online presence. Lately we have been getting into the foggy world that is social networking and are lucky to have Aspire’s trainer on the subject, Ian Wood, as one of our members.

The forum is filled with great tips to increase your bottom line – but perhaps more importantly it is full of genuine advice when members have problems in business, no one judges and all try to help. Sometimes that help can be a little raw but that is where the forum being closed helps.

Bottom line – members help members.

We had a great writeup in December’s issue of Photo Professional Magazine !

Its not a free forum – but member exclusive discounts mean that an average business can save hundreds per year …. and that is before you get stuck in to the excellent content that will save and make you more money at the same time.

Ringwood Hall Engagement Photography | Laura and Daniel

Sunday saw me at a very foggy Ringwood Hall for the pre wedding session for Laura and Daniel, who are getting married at this beautiful Derbyshire wedding venue in December.

They were very relaxed as we wandered around outside … and Laura never moaned about her shoes getting totally trashedWe used the time to get Daniel used to the camera as it is always the man who is a problem – and these pre wedding photography sessions mean that they have some sort of clue on the actual day !

I’m sure we are going to have a great time – and perhaps even a little snow ….

From these photographs, Laura and Daniel, will choose one to have enlarged and mounted as a guest signing mat. Some couples even decide to have a bespoke signing book made from the engagement photography.

Portrait Portfolio Session with Shannon

Shannon contacted me a few months ago wanting a portrait session and finally dates matched and this morning we were able to make the first start on getting her some fantastic portraits and also the start of a portfolio set for her.

We went to Sutton Scarsdale Hall and had a relaxed time getting some stunning lifestyle portraits ….. Shannon’s mum came along to add support and soon Shannon was relaxed and enjoying the session ! These are so different from what people expect – they still think of portraits being like school cheesy pictures that you just hide in the drawers ! Lifestyle portraits are a chance for you to show your real self and hopefully the results are ones you are proud of.
